This is the first time I am writing a review on a product or anything online. But this food is worth it, as well as sharing my experiences with all those new “moms” struggling to find a dog food review for their beloved dog.I adopted my lab mix little over 1 yr ago. Her foster parents had been greeting her with a reputable grain free choice based kibble. She had stinky loose stills on it and she had a yeast infection in her ears, plus she wasn’t too excited about it. Anyway, went through 3 others before I bought candidae pure salmon. This is the only one which hasn’t caused flatulence, diarrhea, vomiting. She LOVES it. She had pancreatitis twice last year for other reasons. She turned out to be allergic to chicken, since the vet bland diet for her pancreatitis was causing more diarrhea. Once I went back on this she was healthy again, and now it’s going to be almost 1 year on this same food! It’s only 8 ingredients plus probiotics, her stools are great consistency, non smelly(for real), no gas and of course her skin is so perfect! And has the shiniest coat.Highly recommended. I really stumbled upon it, I had read every possible food review website and forum out there and couldn’t get any clear idea of what was best and within a certain decent price range.Good luck!

I have a black lab mix (most likely with pit). He was raised on Rachael Ray for years with no issues. Then he began getting ear infection every fall, then it progressed to excessive itching and balding spots. He had been to the vet a few times.Eventually they said we could do a bunch of testing but after some research I decided to try switching his food. I ended up going with the Candidea limited ingredient and it has been night and day for him.We get compliments all the time on his thick shiny coat. No more scratching/itching/licking which must’ve driven him crazy because it drove me crazy.
And so far, knock on wood, he hasn’t had an ear infection this season but it may be too early to tell.
